Hope Neighborhood Park
Hey there! Welcome!
Hope Neighborhood Park exists as a gift from Hope to Westwood! Our church has been so blessed by being a part of this neighborhood since 1947 that we wanted to ‘give back’ in a tangible way to show our community our love and appreciation for our neighborhood!
To stay ‘in-the-know’ on different community events happening at the playground and at Hope, follow our Facebook Page! Don’t have Facebook? No problem. We will have all our major events posted here on our home page. Have a question or suggestion for our playground? Fill out the form below and we will be in touch!
While there is zero expectation, some have asked how they can help support the playground! We are almost always in need of sidewalk chalk, and we also go through basketballs like there is no tomorrow. We happily invest in keeping the playground maintained, but if you desire to support our efforts financially, you can do so on our giving page.
Bathrooms are available during regular office hours at Hope Church (Monday - Thursday 9:30am-4pm)
Finally, this park was made for you out of a desire of Hope Church to create a fun and safe gathering place for this amazing neighborhood community. The playground would not be a special place without all of you coming and making it the vibrant place it is! Thank you!

Safety Guidelines
To help keep everyone safe and ensure the playground remains a blessing for our church and community, we ask that you observe the following:
Children must be supervised at all times.
Playground use is at your own risk. Please don't climb on top of equipment.
We love animals, but please keep them outside the fenced area.
Be kind, take turns, share equipment, and keep rough play, pushing, and bullying out.
Smoking or vaping are not permitted on church property.
Please dispose of trash in the designated receptacle.
Treat equipment and church property with care, including no chalk or graffiti on the playground equipment please.
Report damaged equipment or safety concerns by filling out the form on this page.
Items left behind go in the storage bin for one week, then are donated or discarded.
Please keep music family-friendly and at a considerate volume.
Basketball Guidelines
Please do not raise or lower the hoop without the crank. Adjusting the height of the hoop is available by request through the office during regular church office hours.
The hoop may not be lowered less than a 90 degree angle (according to the manufacturer, this will break the hoop).
No hanging or sitting on top of the hoop, please.
Basketballs should be kept in the storage container when not in use. If a ball needs some air, please visit us in the office.
Please be considerate of others while playing!
